Well here is quick post... I am off to Younique for a day crop 9 - midnight with my pals Dee and Regan! Yay.... here is another take on the cricut cut I did last week from the Sweet Treats Cartridge... the Heart on the top was done by cutting it out in chipboard and cardstock - applying the too together... dabbing it on my glue ink pad and then sprinkling some gitter on it and applying glossy accents!

Sorry, Removed for publication in Cards - February 2011!

Details: Patterned Paper, K&Co, Sentiment stamp - Stamping Bella, Ribbon & Button from my stash...

LRW-Heart Challenge - Day 2

ok - so I cheated just a little - I made this card for the Bitten By the Bug2 contest last week and was so busy I did not have a chance to post this one... it does fit the Heart Challenge However from Little Red Wagon this week!

The challenge from Bitten by the Bug2 was to use the Doodcharms Snowman on your project. Here I cut him glittered cardstock... made my own patterned paper with a PTI stamp set and some Versamark and embossing powerder... The sentiment on the heart is a new Bella Stamp that I picked up! and I just thought it suited the snowman with wide open arms to a tee! Using some Heart patterned paper by K & Co I created a little hat for my Lovey Snowman!

LRW - Challenge #13 - Home is where you Hang your Heart!

I can not believe how quickly this last week flew by... First off I would like to congratulate Katie on winning our first ever blog prize! We hope you enjoy what we put together for you! It is Wednesday again and time for another challenge on Little Red Wagon. Since we are getting close to Valentines Day I thought it would be fun to play with Hearts! My intent this week will be to hopefully make one post a day on my blog using this theme and start the postings with this cute Little Bird House! Now I have to say as soon as I saw Regan's Friendzy Friday post on Two Scrapbook Friends Blog from last Friday I just knew I had to make one of these very soon! So much so that I drove around to different dollar stores looking for them!

Details: Birdhouse (Dollar Store), Patterned Paper (K & Co.), Paint (Making Memories), Fiskars Heart Punch Glossy Accents and PTI Stamped sentiment (Bird Watching), Ribbon from my Stash! The Roof is made of a bunch of punched heart shapes that were layered to create the shingle look. A Sentiment that says the word Heart in it... Heart Paper was used, and I hung a heart as the sentiment notes on the perch of the birdhouse!

Here are two more close up picks of the Roof and the Heart that hangs from the perch!

I hope you can join us in creating something and posting the link on the Little Red Wagon Blog! I am so looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! It is always so inspiring and don't forget to check out what the other girlfriends have done for this weeks challenge!

Bitten By the Bug 2 - Contest

Bitten by the Bug 2 is a new weekly challenge website for cricut users it is based off of Bitten by the Bug which recently closed. I am thinking of doing a card for this weeks challenge now! If you own a Cricut machine you should check out both sites... they have some really cool ideas!

LRW - Challenge #12 - Snowflakes

It is Wed! which means we have another new challenge on Little Red Wagon! This week is Snowflakes... and I immediately thought of using my new Cricut Cartridge Winter Woodland for this challenge... I cut both the sled base and the sentiment Let it Snow on my Cricut. I thought it might be fun to create a 3D Project this week instead of a card... I am thinking this would look really cute attatched to a gift bag or around a bottle of wine!

Items used: Cricut - My Time Made Easy Template (Sled Base) SVG file & Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge (Sentiment). PTI Cardstock Spring Rain, Scrap Cardstock, Marvey Snowflake Punches Cuttlebug snowflake die and some Bling! I hope you can play along with us this week!

LRW-Challenge #11 - Polka Dots!

Well, it is Wednesday again and I can not believe I have not posted anything on my blog since last week! The Challenge at Little Red Wagon was to use Polka Dots! Since I had to create a 1st Birthday Card for my youngest nephew I dug deep into my stash to find this old paper I had from the AMM Couture Line! I actually got a sampling of this whole set of paper & embelishment line when it was first released from Two Peas in a Bucket meet up after CKC Buffalo (which might I add is when I first met Rosanne from the Little Red Wagon!

Items used: Bella Stamp - Sentiment is PTI, PP is AMM Couture, Ribbon and Cardstock is PTI, Copics and some Stickles! I hope my little guy likes his first homemade birthaday card from Auntie!
Oh... can't forget to mention I now have a Floral Pin Frog thanks to Dee sharing where she got hers!

Well - sorry this is so late... I have been extremely busy working around the house... I am about 1/3 completed with organizing my Scrapbook Room which was desperately needed! Here is my submission - the challenge was to use lots of flowers! There were a lot of them in this Kim Hughes stamp so I thought I would start with it as the base!
