FCCB #238 - Give Thanks


This weeks challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut Challeng Blog is...
Give Thanks!!!

Here is my project, I used the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge.


1)Using the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge cut 3 White (Scareccw1) from Page 57 at 5 ½ inches high.
2) Cut Layer 1 in the Red Polka Dot Patterned Paper
3)  Cut Layer 2 in the Blue Patterned Paper
4)  Cut Layer 3 in both Black and Beige Cardstock
5)  Discard the beige shoes and eyes.
6)  On the first white scarecrow cut apply the beige head, sandwiching the yellow basket stuffing between the 2 layers.
7)  Glue the Blue Hat and Red band around the hat
8)  Glue the Red Shirt onto the Scare crow sandwiching the yellow basket stuffing around the arms
9)  Blue the Blue overalls adding some Bling for the buttons
10)Tie red ribbon around armbands
11)  Glue the Finished Scarecrow to the 2nd white cut scarecrow
12)  Score top ½ inch of 3rd White cut scarecrow and glue top to the front piece
13)  Stamp Sentiment  in black ink on white cut cardstock 1 ¼ x 3/4
14)  Ink Edges with blue ink and apply to the scarecrows arm
15)  Add cut eyes and nose and shoes

CCP Challenge #42 - Has a Frame

The Challenge for this week on Crazy Card Party was to use a Frame!  Here is what I came up with!


There were some cool Funky Frames printed on some patterned paper!  I fussy cut them and used them for my journalling!

FCCB # 237 - Embellish Me


This weeks challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut Challeng Blog is...
To use 3 or more embellishments!!!

I came up with this cute little Baked Pie Card! 


Details:
  1. Cut 2 of Pie with the shadow feature from white cardstock to create the card base.
  2. Cut 2 more of the same shape one from the teal dot paper and one from the beige.
  3. From scrap cardstock cut the layer 2 pie to use as a template to create the top of the pie.
  4. Using a pencil trace the top of the pie on the beige cut and trim the bottom of the pie off
  5. Glue the teal onto the card base.
  6. Pop dot the pie crust onto the card for dimension.
  7. Stamp sentiment and make into a banner shape – ink edges of the banner.
  8. Add the 3 stickers and the peal in the centre of the flower. 
  9. Die cut the word love and glue to the pie base.

FCCB Challenge #236 - Sketch


This weeks challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut Challeng Blog is...
To use this Sketch!!!!


I have to admit, I struggled a little with this challenge until I realized that the sketch looked like a spool of thread to me... so this is what I came up with!!!


Details:
  1. Cut the Spool Card from Kraft Cardstock.
  2. Stamp the woodgrain on the front of the card.
  3. Cut the square piece for the spool card from the pink and white patterned paper.
  4. Cut the from the black cardstock.
  5. Cut the from the black patterned paper.
  6. Gather a strip of the tulle to tie around the dress form
  7. Add the sequin trim around the waist.
  8. Put the layers of the card together.
  9. Stamp the banner strip and add.

CCP Challenge # 40 - Christmas Cards

So the challenge this week on Crazy Card Party is Christmas Cards!  Dee really wanted us to get started on these!  Here is what I came up with!



I used some Simple Stories to create this card! 


CCP Challenge #39 - Autumn

The challenge for Oct 30th on Crazy Card Party was to create something with the theme of Autumn!
I came up with this card!


Details:  Stamps:  PTI (Background Basics: Woodgrain, Counting My Blessings), Dies:  PTI (Counting My Blessings) Spellbinder (Rectangle), Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette Cut Shapes (Fall Leaf Set, Leaf Silhouettes), Patterned Paper:  Bella Blvd (Finally Fall, Chrismtas Wishes), Button & Twine:  PTI, Ink:  Hero Arts (Soft Sand), PTI (Fresh Snow), Cardstock:  PTI & Bazzill, Cuttlebug, Burlap.

1.     Trim a piece of kraft cardstock to fit the face of an A2 Card.
2.     Using the Cuttleug cut the burlap with the spellbinder rectangle die.
3.     Cut the word Thankful with the PTI Die from Brown cardstock.
4.     Stamp the “So Very” Sentiment in white ink on brown cardstock and cut a banner end.
5.     Cut all 3 leaf Shapes on the Silhoutte.
6.     Glitter a Green Button using spray adhesive and tie twine through button and make a bow.
7.     Score down the centre of 1 of each leaf and glue to the base matching leaf.
8.     Stamp woodgrain stamp from beige ink on white cardstock.
9.     Round the corners on the card base and the white stamped cardstock.
10.   Glue the burlap to the white stamped cardstock
11.   Using Glue dots attach the leaves.
12.   Using Pop Dots attach the Thankful part of the sentiment.
13.   Using Pop Dots attach the button in the centre of the leaves and add the rest of the sentiment.

FCCB Challenge #235- Anything Goes

Anything Goes!!!!

Sorry for the delay in this post.... I have not had any internet now for a week and a half!  So I am just trying to catch up on my blog posts!!!

I decided to make this cute little pumpkin card with the Create A Critter Cartridge!


Details:
  1. Cut 2 from the white cardstock at 4”
  2. Cut 1 from Brown cardstock at the same size
  3. Cut 2 from Bo Bunny Double Dot patterned Paper at the same size
  4. Score the top ¾” of one of the white cardstock pumpkins and glue to the top ortion to other white pumpkin cut to create a card base.
  5. Glue brown pumpkin to the white card base.
  6. Cut the stem from both orange pumpkins and discard
  7. Glue one orange pumpkin on top of the brown one
  8. Cut some strips of green patterned paper an wrap them around a pen and pencil  to curl them.
  9. Cut both sides away from the remaining orange pumpkin
  10. Attach 2 green curled strips to the back of the oval orange pumpkin and pop dot in the centre of the full orange pumpkin
  11. Tie some twine around the stem of the pumpkin and through a button and tie in a bow
  12. Stamp sentiment in brown ink on white cardstock and ink edges with brown ink
  13. Glue sentiment strip under the button.
