TSF Friendzy Friday - The Multiple Uses of Copics!

Did you know that you can use your copic markers to change the colours of items?  Here are just a few examples!  First up I will show you how you take clear Kaisercraft Sparklets or any Bling and by just colouring them with a copic you can totally transform the look of them!

All you need is a little bling and a copic marker!

Colour in your bling until you like the colour!
And now you have a different colour of Bling!

Here is just another example of what you can colour with your copics!  Here I coloured some regular twine Orange to match my layout !

Here is a close up of the coloured Twine!  I coloured it the same way I coloured the bling!

Happy Colouring!

LRW - Challenge #17 Black & White

Well - I can not believe a whole week has gone by already! It is Joanne's week to choose the challenge for Little Red Wagon and I know I always seem to say this but I was so excited with the choice... My Scrapbook Room is Black and White and I had purchased this papermache Dress Form from Creative Imaginations a long time ago and have wanted to alter it as a piece of scrappy art for my room! So when Joanne issued this challenge I was all set! This is what the Dress form looked like before I started!
Here is a close up of how I decorated the top half of the dress form! First I painted the dress form black... then I hand coloured with my copic markers some mini blossoms from making memories and added some bling to the centres...

I sewed some ribbon to make the skirt for the dress and added some ribbon tied in a bow around the waist and neck!

Well, it is Wednesday again and I can not believe I have not posted anything on my blog since last week! The Challenge at Little Red Wagon was to use Polka Dots! Since I had to create a 1st Birthday Card for my youngest nephew I dug deep into my stash to find this old paper I had from the AMM Couture Line! I actually got a sampling of this whole set of paper & embelishment line when it was first released from Two Peas in a Bucket meet up after CKC Buffalo (which might I add is when I first met Rosanne from the Little Red Wagon!

Items used: Bella Stamp - Sentiment is PTI, PP is AMM Couture, Ribbon and Cardstock is PTI, Copics and some Stickles! I hope my little guy likes his first homemade birthaday card from Auntie!
Oh... can't forget to mention I now have a Floral Pin Frog thanks to Dee sharing where she got hers!

"Your Such A Hoot" Bella Card!

ok - so I have so wanted to play around with this Bella Stamp since I bought it in the summer and this is the first time I managed to actually pick it up! It is so adorable... and I found this bella sentiment in my stash too that I thought was just perfect for the stamp!

Details: I coloured the owls with my copics... for the ruffled feather look on their bellies and wing I used my colourless blender to remove some of the colour by creating dotts on their bellies... then added a little colour highlight in the dots with the darkest colour I used to colour them with then added a little glaze using a glaze pen... Add some stickles to their tree branch and we are all set! Used my split punch to create the scallop edge and added some bling! Patterned paper is from the Green Stack!

Bella Card #3

Here is the 3rd Card from the class with Linda Heavens in Bella Land... The snow under the card was created with liquid applique and while it was still wet you add a little glitter... let it dry for 24 hours and then heat with embossing gun... this turned out too cool... I will have to keep this in the back of my find for some other crafty items in the future! I added a little Ribbon to the card layout...

Welcome Back to Canada (Rainy & Cold)

Well... I have had a busy couple of weeks... I spent a glorious weekend being pampered at Younique where I managed to create 7 page layouts and a number of cards which will be posted over the next litle while... I loved the weather in Florida, how can you not just love the 97 degree weather! Especially sitting by a pool and spending some quality time with friends shopping! I created the following 4 cards for my girlfriends as sort of a thank you for the wonderful time we spent together. Each one was sort of custom made for each of them: The one with Shoes is for my friend Nadine who I got to know a little better on this trip... I am told she has a shoe fettish.... the one with pony tail is my girlfriend Joe-Ann... the one with the dark curly hair is my girlfriend Jen and how can I forget the one with the flippy hair is my girlfriend Andrea... I have known these girls for a long time now and we have definately spent some quality time over the years of doing some amazing things together however I think this trip definately goes down in my books as one of the most enjoyable moments with these girls...

Card Details: Split punch, Stamping Bella Stamps, copics and Stickles all make up these cards...The sentiment reads Retail Therapy and inside it says It's a Friendship Thing!
