Box Flower Card

I made this flower from a 2" Scallop Punch - I punched 4 of them... then crumpled them up a little - folded them in half and attached them like you are closing a box. Added some Bling and a Sequin for the centre of the flower.

LRW - Challenge #17 Black & White

Well - I can not believe a whole week has gone by already! It is Joanne's week to choose the challenge for Little Red Wagon and I know I always seem to say this but I was so excited with the choice... My Scrapbook Room is Black and White and I had purchased this papermache Dress Form from Creative Imaginations a long time ago and have wanted to alter it as a piece of scrappy art for my room! So when Joanne issued this challenge I was all set! This is what the Dress form looked like before I started!

Here is a close up of how I decorated the top half of the dress form! First I painted the dress form black... then I hand coloured with my copic markers some mini blossoms from making memories and added some bling to the centres...

I sewed some ribbon to make the skirt for the dress and added some ribbon tied in a bow around the waist and neck!

I can not believe it has been almost a week since I have posted anything on my blog! It has been a busy week as I prepare for a weekend crop with some friends coming up next weekend!


I have managed to plan another 20 pages for the scrapbook album I am doing for a friend...

and am hoping to plan another 10 pages for completion during the weekend.

Anyhow... here is a quick card I managed to put together with a little time here and there this past week - I actually coloured this little guy last week at the Card Friendzy night with some friends!

LRW Challenge #16 - Ribbon

Well - it was Dee's turn this week to come up with our Challenge I was never so happy when she choose ribbon... I have been hoarding all of my scrap ribbon in a baggie waiting to do something with it and I decided to create this flower using the scrap ribbon! I also used ribbon along the edge of one of the hills and for the stem of the flower!



Details: Patterned Paper, Diecuts and Sentiment are from the K&Co (Carolyn Gavin line), Felt Cloud is cut from a quickutz die, added a PTI Button in the centre of the flower and added some stickes to the butterfly diecuts

Whoo hoo... I have been featured on the Cards Blog this week... I had so much fun creating this card.... I used layout from a card I created a few weeks ago... but changed it up a little!

Little Red Wagon - Challenge #15 (Use Red & Bling it up!)

It is Wed again and I must say I am so excited about the the response we have had for our challenges... not only are we having number of submissions a week but they are all so amazing! Thank you so much for providing us all with such wonderful inspriation!



The challenge this week was to use the colour Red and to Bling it up! I used the Pink Paislee Paper and Tag to created this card... I stamped the PTI Sentiment in Red Glitter Embossing Powder.. I added a Felt Red Heart and some Ribbon!

BBTB2 & Two Scrapbook Friends Challenges

I created the following card for the BBTB2 Challenge this week - it was to use the Heart Card from the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge... and little did I know... Two Scrapbook Friends was also having a challenge this week to make a shaped card!




The tag is from the Pink Paislee Die Cut tags I created the flower with two punched shapes... stamped a script image on them and crumpled them a little. added some bling!

This week's challenge was to use the Bunny from the Winter Woodlands Cartridge... unfortunately I have been strapped for time this week so it was a quickie card! I used the Card Feature and then cut the Bunny in PT Smokey Shadow... Sentiment Stamp is MFT, A heart punch and google eye!

Little Red Wagon - Challenge #14 (Chipboard)

It is a new Challenge today on Little Red Wagon... Regan has chosen Chipboard! I was so excited when I heard what she had chosen as I have been meaning to check out this technique I used to create the Pink Glittery Heart!



If you mix 1 part Glitter to 2-3 parts UTEE you can and use it like Embosing poweder you get this really cool gillery look! I had seen it done on fabric flowers and thought I would try it out on this Chipboard Heart! The Felt letters I created using a felt square and my cuttlebug dies added a little glossy accents and stickles to the Always & Forever tag (Patterned Paper and Tag are by Pink Paislee (The Cupid Collection)

LRW - Hearts Challenge Day #7

Yeah.... I actually did it! I posted one project per day for this week's challenge on Little Red Wagon!!

Here is my final card of the week! Tomorrow begins with a new challenge being posted on LRW by Regan!



Details: Ribbon, Button, Background Stamp, Sentiment Stamp are PTI; Flower is a Slice flower that I cut in 2 different sized and layered it (I speficially chose this flower as it looked like a series of hearts that were put together to create the flower). The stem is a cricut cut from the Cartridge Walk in my Garden - I just added a little stickles to it to make it sparkle!
