3D Birthday Cupcake!

Well let me tell you... I so could not wait to try out my new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge so I set to work yesterday in my Scrapbook Room and low and behold... this is what I ended up with!

Details:  Cricut Expression; Cricut Craftfroom; Cartridges:  Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 (Cupcake), Ribbons & Rosettes (Cupcake Liner), Mothers Day Bouquet Digital (Flower & Leaves).  Patterned Paper:  My Mind's Eye - Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl; Die, Ink & Sentiment Stamp:  PTI, Yellow Twine.

-I cut the Cupcake Box from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge and then ran it through the machine with the scoring blade as well.  I then glued the box together.
-I cut 8 of the Scallop Rossette cuts and scored them and folded them and glued them together and then around the cupcake box to create a cupcake liner effect.
-I cut the Leaves and Flowers from the Digital Mother's Day Bouquet using Cricut Craftrroom a free software program for Cricut Users.
- I rolled up some patterned paper with some twine taped to the inside to create the candle.
- I stamped the sentiment on the PTI Banner Die and fastened it to the candle.

#52 Cricut Challenge - Things We Love

The Weekly Challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog is to Scrapbook Things We Love and to include a tag and a negative cut!  I created the following Layout showcasing my Niece and 2 Nephews!  I also played around Cricut Craftroom to create the little Negative cut banner pieces!

The Negative Cut I decided to use is one I created using Cricut Craftroom.  I used the Banner from Pg 65 of the Martha Stewart All Occaisions Cake art and placed the Heart from the Craftroom Basics set in the centre of the banner.  I cut 5 out of the green patterned paper and then removed the heart from each banner and cut the banner pices from the red patterned paper - I pop dotted each of the green banner cuts on top of the red one to create a layered look using the negative cut from the heart shape.

The Apple is cut from the Wrap It Up Cricut cartridge, I added a tag and made the title read "So Sweet That I Love you to the Core"

I used some PTI Dies to create the clouds beacuase I just could resist adding any and the heart stickers were just the perfect addition!

Products Used:  Cricut Expression, Cricut Craftroom, Wrap It Up Cricut Catridge (Apple), Martha Stewart All Occaisions Cake Art Cartridge (Banner), Craft Room Basics Shapes (Heart)  McGill Punch (Tag), Patterned Paper & Embelishments: Jillebean Apple Cheddar Soup, American Crafts Stickers (Love, You, Core), PTI Twine and Cloud Dies.

Back to School Treats!

I had fun again in my Scraproom today... I cut a 3D Building from the Winter Woodlands cartridge to create this little welcome back to school treat container!

The building does not come with a bottom to contain the treats so I created a little box lid for the bottom so that it could contain some tasty treats!

The Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge was used to create the heart shaped box and  the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art to cut the additional Glittered Scallop Heart.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #51 - Valentines Day Card

The Challenge this week is to create a Valentine's Day Card and add ribbon and some gems or sequins.  I used some Maya Road Trim and Designer Trim from Webster's Pages as the Ribbon and some Kaisercraft Basics Rhinestones.

The Details:  I cut a 5x7 square from the shapes on my Cricut Imagine and filled the square with the Red Check Pattern Paper from Page 36 of the Imagine More Cricut Cartridge.  I also cut the layers for the Heart on Page 14 at 2.3" I trimed the Square to fit my A2 Cardsize and attached the 2 trims to the checkered patterned paper.  This is then pop dotted off the main white cardbase.  I added the Rhinestones to the teal trim.  I created the layerd heart using pop dots and added he word love with a blinged up pink rose.  Then using the cuttlebug with gratitude set I cut the Thank you and trimed off the Thank part and ran it through my Xyron Sticker maker face down and applied some white glitter to the word You.   This also is pop dotted off of the card.

Items used:  Cricut Imagine, Cricut Imagine More Cards Cartridge (Patterned Paper and Layered Heart), Webster's Designer Trim (Teal), Maya Road (White Trim)  Cuttlebug With Gratitude Emboss and Cut set ("You").  Stampendous Crystal Snow Glitter ("You").  Pink glittered resin flower:  Misc, Kaiser Craft Rhinestones (Teal); Xyron Sticker maker, Beacon's 3 in 1 glue.
