Ok - so I know I have been a bad blogger lately.... I just have had a busy few weeks trying to catch up on family life! I don't have any new projects to post but thought I might post that I won a challenge over at The Cameo Spotlight! Here is what I made! You can check out their post here at The Cameo Spotlight.
So far I managed to play along with almost all of their challenges! I am not sure I will make this last one but am totally looking forward to doing more of their challenges!
So I have been enjoying all the challenges over at the Creative Paper Trade so much that I really wanted to complete all the challenges again! Here is my Submission for the Tip Top Shape (Stars)! I also wanted to incorporate the free digi that was provided with this set of challenges! I am so excited for todays Tuesday Tut! I requested a tutorial on a Ribbon Flower that I saw on Andrea's Blog and she said sure! So make sure to check out the blog using the link above for the tutorial sometime today!
Details: Free Digi (Creative Paper Trade), Button & Ribbon: PTI, Stars are Mistable from Studio Calico and I used some Tattered Angels Mist in Grey! Twine is Lawn Fawn!
So here is what I came up with... a little hostess gift! Each pumpkin has some little treats inside!
Pumpkin Basket: Patterned Papers & Embellishments (Fall
Fling Digital Collection), Silhouette Die cuts (Basket: 3D Bushel Fruit Basket,
Pumpkin: 3 Leaves, Star Top Box, 8 Labels), Button & Twine (PTI), Ribbon
from my stash, Glossy accents on the leaves.
All shapes were cut on my silhouette.
The Star Top box was not closed all the way before gluing to give the
height for the shape of the pumpkin under the oval shapes that I glued all
around the box to create the pumpkin shape.
I used a Lori Whitlock Fall Tree Shape found in the Silhouette Store! I wanted a little dimension to the tree leaves so I cut them 2 times and placed the first cut inside the whole of the negative cut on the white cardstock and then scored an additional leaf down the centre before gluing to the centre of the first leaf!
I wanted to complete all three challenges again at the Creative Paper Trade! This card is for the Paper Nudge #2 Challenge - A Sketch!
Here is the Card I made! I had a lot of fun with this Challenge! And even used some Old Chatterbox Paper! I used some Digital's from the Creative Paper Trail Esty Shop! I used the Notes: Journal Tag and I stamped a sentiment onto it and I used a round Digital as well!
I created a little dimension with a lot of pop dots and some additional prints of the Circle

So I have totally been enjoying the 3 challenges that were issued at the Creative Paper Trade last week and thought I would complete all 3 of the challenges - this is the 3rd one and we were to use Squares! So I immediately thought to use the free digi shape that they issued during the week! Here is my submission for the Challenge!
I wanted to give a little dimension to the original digi so I printed it a number of times so I could raise the frame and add a second apple and leaf!

I made another card today! For another Challenge at the Creative Paper Trade! This time the challenge was to use Letters! I found this cute little Love Cut by Lori Whitlock and also used Her Digital Paper set the Maggie Collection! Here is what I came up with!
Here is a close up of the embellished Bow! I glittered another button and used one of the tags from the Lori's Paper collection!
Here is what the paper collection looks like!
Details: Silhouette Cameo, Die cuts & Patterned Papers: Lori Whitlock, Stamps, Buttons & Ink: PTI, Pin: Fancy Pants, Twine: American Crafts.
Print the Patterned Border Strips and cut them out.
Print out the solid Blue Patterned Paper and stamp the hearts in white ink.
Trim the border stripes to fit the card shape.
Sew the border stripes onto the card using yellow thread.
I cut the Spiders 2 times from her printed digital kit paper and then trimmed away the legs and web on one for each of the spiders. Then I scored down the centre to provide a little dimension... I also added some googly eyes and inked the edges!
The coffin is also cut from patterned paper from her digital kit along with the tag! I also added a glitter to a black button using some spray glue!
I found a really cool new Challenge Blog called "Creative Paper Trade" this week and could not wait till the first challenge was issued! They will have 3 differenet challenges in one week and then one winner chosen and some cards highlighted thru the week. The first Challenge of the Week is a Colour Challenge details are below:
This is my take on the challenge!
I Here is a close up of the frame and flower!
I used a frame silhouette cut by Lori Whitlock and also her Hello Summer Paper by Echo Park
Details: Silhouette Cameo, Frame & Patterned Paper by Lori Whitlock, Stamp & Ink (Papertrey Ink). Green Leaf pins (Maya Road), EK Success Border Punch, Felt, My Favorite Things Rolled Rose Die.
Cut 3 Banner shapes from the Blue patterned paper to fit the front of the white card base.
glue them down leaving the edges at the bottom free of glue so that you can flip them up a little.
cut the frame on your Silhouette from the yellow patterned paper and from white paper and stamping the sentiment pop dot the yellow frame on top of the white cut piece.
Tie the Pink ribbon around the card and tie in a bow.
Pop dot the Frame in the centre of the card.
attach the green stick pins
Using a EK Success border punch trim some of the pink patterned paper to create a notched edge.
I decided to play along with The Cameo Spotlight Challenge for this week again! This week's Challenge is a colour challenge, Steel Blue, Sage Green and Beige!
I found this cute card kit flower poton the Silhouette Online Store by Lori Whitlock. And as soon as I saw the colour challenge for this challenge I also immediately thought of the new For The Record Lines by Echo Park!
All papers are from the Echo Park For the Record 2 Lines! I stamped the beige patterned paper with some white ink and a Paper Smooches Stamp to give a little detail to the flower pot.
The Flower pot actually acts like an envelope and the flowers pull out so you see the inside of the card!
I also cut 2 of the green layers and hand cut the leaves out to give more dimension to them. I also added a little Glossy Accents and glitter to them, then folded them in half before gluing over the main layer. To Give the flowers a little more dimension I cut 2 and layered them together with a layer of pop dots in between. Then to finish the flowers off I cut some felt and made a rolled felt flower the centre!
