Happy Birthday Regs!!!

Hi Everyone! it is my friends birthday today and I made this card for her... She just loves wide ribbon so of course this was up on the forefront of my mind when creating this card for her... we also bought the CC Designs stamp set Tweet-ies together so thought it would be a perfect start to this card for her! I coloured the image with Copics and used buttons for the wheels!

Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY REGS! See you at lunch!

Sweet Card

Here is the final card for the box - I used the Ice Cream Cone from the Little Gal CHF Stamp - Thanks to my Friend Regan who gave me the idea to do a Double Scoop!

Hello Card

Here is the 2nd Card for the Box.. I used the Mocha Chica CHF stamp to create this one

Cute Chick Card

Here is a close up of one of the cards I made for the CHF challenge - Week #5

I used the CHF Sweet Spring Stamp set for the Bird and the Sentiment. The Green paper is made using Versamark and a PTI Stamp set.

CHF - Challenge #5

Well... I have had an absolute blast these past few weeks with these challenges... I am kina sad they are over... The final one was called One Sheet Wonder where we were to create our own piece of patterned paper and use it to create something so I decided to use the small Snail from the Spring Trees Set - I stamped him over and over again on a 81/2 x 11 sheet of white cardstock... then coloured him in with my copics and added a little stickles to each one. I then used this piece of paper to create a small box to house some cards in as a hostess gift. I titled it "Snail Mail". I used the Mailbox from the Hugs and Kisses stamp set as well. And of course... what is a box without a few cards in it! so I created 3 matching cards using stamps from the Sweet Spring... Mocha Chica & Little Gal sets!

CHF - Challenge #4

I have had so much fun creating for these challenges. This weeks Challenge was to creat a Scene using stamps from either one or multiple sets. I choose to use the Spring Trees Set.

I paperpieced the Tree with Patterned paper and the Trunk is pieced using Felt. I also used te birds, Mushrooms, Flower, Snail and Butterfly from this set. I coloured them with copics and used a little bling and stickles to make them stand out a little bit more! The Clouds are a quickutz shape and I choose to stamp the Words Welcome Spring from the Stamp set onto 2 of the Clouds and embossed the other one using my cuttlebug. The Grass is also created using a quickutz die and I pop dotted some of the grass to creat dimension.

CHF - Challege #3

Here is my card for this week's Challenge on Cornish Heritage Farms. The Challenge was to do a resist technique. So I made the Heart Patterned paper on my circle background by stamping a heart stamp with Versa Mark over and over again on Glossy White paper. Once it had completely dried I then took some light pink Dye Ink and used my brayer to completely cover the paper. Once dried I have a very cool looking piece of patterned paper! I made a scallop circle card using my Nestibilities. I used the Birds and the Bees Stamp Set and the Pretty Birds stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms and coloured the tree twig and birds with my Copic markers... The Teal Hearts are Heart punches with Stickles on them! Finished it off with Some Ribbon, a button, Pin and Tag that says Kiss Me!

On The Farm - CHF Challenge #2

Since I had some time off last week I decided to do the Summer Design Challenge on Cornish Heritage Farms - The Challenge was to Do some paper piecing using one of their stamps... I paper pieced the Tree from the Spring Trees set using fabric as the tree leaves... and a patterned paper as the trunk... since it had a Farm Theme to it I used a circle punch to punch out some red apples from some patterned paper for a more pieced look.. I also paper pieced a small bird using 2 different patterned papers and a small bird from the Pretty Birds Collection... I stamped out Bossy the Cow and coloured him in with Copics! I used a qickutz die for the clouds and cut one apart and used a cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss one of the clouds... The clouds are also coloured with copic markers. The fence is a quickutz die and the grass is a cricut cut.
