ok - here is the promised tutorial on how to make the glittery Tree Ornaments, I hope you enjoy!

You will need: Clear Glass Blub Ornaments, Pledge Floor Wax, Jewel Glitter Ritz (Micro fine Glitter from Two Scrapbook Friends), some bling stickers also found at Two Scrapbook Friends, Some Ribbon and a plastic cup!

First Remove the Bulb Top, Pour in some of the floor wax and swirl it around to ensure that you cover the full inside of the glass bulb...

Pour out the floor was into the plastic cup and allow the bulb to sit until most of the liquid has drained.... this willl only take a few seconds..

Next pour in some glitter and strategically turn the bulb ensuring that you cover the whole inisde of the bulb before dumping the remaining glitter onto a sheet of paper.

You can pour the reserved floor wax and glitter back into their originating containers to save for future use.

Attach the top of the glass bulb again and place the Bling Sticker in this case a snow flake on the bulb and add the ribbon! Here is the finished product!

I hope you can have a chance to make some of these cool little tree ornaments!

Merry Christmas!

LRW-Last min Table Favor or Place Card

Well This weeks challenge of making a last minute table favor or Place card could not have been better timing!  I just finished hosting our 10th Annual Christmas Wrapping Party at my house and decided to make these take away tree ornaments for each of the girls.  I put their First Initial on the ornament so everyone knew where to sit at the table!  These went over so well!  The girls were so impressed! Stay tuned as I will have a tutorial on how to make these on Friday which can be found on my Blog or on the Two Scrapbook Friends Blog & Forum!

Merry Christmas!!!

Friendzy Friday - Make your Diecuts Sparkle!

This past month I wanted to make my Die Cuts Sparkle!  I seem to have a real desire for anything glittery lately... so this is what I started out with...

A sticker maker to fit my die cut... a die cut provided in my DT Kit, Some Glitter and Some googly eyes...

I ran the Die cut through the sticker maker to make the top of the die cut sticky... I added the Glitter and then topped it off with the googly eyes...  here is the final product!

Here is the layout I used the Spider Die cut on...

Ialso used it on the word wicked in my layout here...

I hope you have fun making your die cuts Sparkle!

LRW - Challenge # 53 - Use Red!

Well, I can not believe I am acutally saying this... we have now completed 52 posts of Little Red Wagon and we are celebrating 1 year of Little Red Wagon Challenges... I have to say I have totally been enjoying these blog posts and challenges!  In honour of our 53rd Post  I just had to create this little 3D Wagon!  Therefore the challenge this week is to use the colour Red in your project!

I just happened to come across this Wagon SVG file on the My Favorite Things blog a few weeks ago and I just knew this was the perfect project for this weeks challenge!

I cut the wagon on my cricut in Red, Black and used some circle punches for the wheels. I added a little stickles. The number one was also cut on the cricut with the Alphalicious cartridge. I then added some glitter!

Since this is such a special occasion on Little Red Wagon all the girlfriends have decided to put together a little blog candy for someone who participates in this weeks challenge. A number will be drawn at random in order to choose the lucky winner. Here is my Blog Candy that I am offering up for this weeks challenge! It is the 3rd Anniversary set of stamps from Papertrey Ink... now if you have not yet figured it out from all my posts I make... I am a little bit of a fan of theirs!

I hope you can play along with us this week and link up your project!

Don't forget to check out what the other Girlfriends have come up with!

LRW & 2 Scrapbook Friends - Dual Challenge

My post today is playing double duty!  I have had a busy week and it was my turn to issue a card challenge on the Two Scrapbook Friends Forum so since we are so close to Halloween and my schedule has been a little busy lately I am using this card for both challenges...

The patterned paper is Echo park. It is hard to tell on the photo but I have added a layer of glitter to the ghost diecut shap - I used a little Tule as a Ribbon and tied a bow and added a Queen and Company Halloween Brad that says Boo to You!

I hope you can join us this week  in creating a Halloween Themed project and link it up to both sites - the links can be found on my sidebar!
