Crazy Card Party Challenge #12 - Wreath

The Challenge for this week is to use a wreath!  I have wanted to do a chalkboard card for a lon so I thought this PTI Wreath Stamp would be the perfect pair for that kind of card!  I stamped it and the sentiment in white embossing powder, then I coloured the leaves in with a Green Pitt Pastel from Faber-Castell!  Yet again... here i am using new products (my PTI Stamps, the Faber-Castell products and some new Pigment inks from Memento Luxe and Avery Elle!).  And of course how could I not resist adding in some cricut cuts (The black scallped square and the 3 leaves!). I had a blast making this Card!

Details:
  1. Cut  the Scalloped Square with the Shadow feature from Black Cardstock at 4 ½”.
  2. Using Versamark and White Embossing Powder stamp the Wreath and heat emboss.
  3. Stamp the sentiment in the same manner.
  4. Cut 3 of the Leaf at 1” from Green Cardstock.
  5. Using the cuttlebug and the matching dies to the stamp cut 3 pieces for the flowers and stamp the flowers.  The two smaller flowers are stamped in pink and the larger flower in purple.
  6. Using a green pencil crayon color in the wreath leaves.
  7. Using a paper towel and white pigment ink create a chalkboard look by rubbing the link with the paper towel onto the black cardstock shape.
  8. Score a square in the centre of the scallops and draw a white line just inside the scored lines – fold up the scallps.
  9. Glue the leaves down to the left bottom side of the stamped wreath and pop dot the flowers.  Bend the leaves slightly to give a little dimension.
  10. Glue onto a white card base.
  11. Add some stickles to the centre of the flowers and to the leaves and let dry.
