~This Weeks Challenge~
Back to School
Create a back to school project

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

I have a lot of fun making 3D items and I just could not resist making this little Knapsack from the Campin Critters Cricut Cartridge!

I used my Cricut Imagine Machine and the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine cartridge to cut the apple!

As you can tell by this next picture I felt it still needed some more dimension so I created 2 apple cuts (one slightly smaller and layered it for some added dimension!

I hope you can play along with us this week at the Challenge Blog!

  1. Cut the on Page 69 of the Campin’ Critters Cricut Cartridge at 10 ½” from the (Blue with white polka dots).
  2. Cut the same out of the brown patterned paper and stop the cutting after the straps.
  3. Cut with the Layer 2 option out of the same brown patterned paper.
  4. Cut the with the Shift key and Layer 1 option from the same brown patterned paper.
  5. Assemble Backpack as per instructions.
  6. Cut the Red Apple without the worm and the stem from Page 16 of the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine Cartridge at 3.2” and an apple without the worm at 2.5”  Ink the edges of all of the apple pieces with Brown Ink.
  7. Trim Leaf to fit the 3.2” apple and fold it and glue it so it folds up.  Trim off the stem of the 2.5 and fold the apple in have and glue it to the apple so it folds up.
  8. Using Glossy Accents apply glitter to the leaf of the apple.
  9. Ink the chipboard letters with blue, yellow and green ink and let dry.  Then apply glossy accents to the top of the chipboard letters.
